Sorry about this. I have had a few people tell me this. It is OK if you want to go back and create a new user name and email to get in for now. Thanks for letting me know.

Solars are a pain in the butt. From experience they never do what they want you to do.

the only indicators I have are volume and MAs. You might be thinking of Steve’s layout. He is using a stochastic indicator.

hi Andy,
very good and usefull vids thanks,
can u tell me wich indicator are u using in the bottom and in wich setup? it seems to be sthoc, and how do u use it overbought? divergence?
March 15th, 2010 at 11:55 pm
yes, SMA. using 10,20, and 50 SMA
March 17th, 2010 at 11:54 pm
I am new to all this am am wondering if you are referring to the SMA or the EMA. Based on the explanations for each on TD Ameritrade I am assuming SMA.
And just to confirm: on a five minute chart are you using 50,100,250 MA’s or 10,20 and 50 MA’s? Thanks

how old are you
March 20th, 2010 at 7:10 am
That is a flaw in the software. We noticed that when I was trading Instaquote and Steve first starting trading Lightspeed. We had the same MAs but were getting different values. For some reason Lightspeed were set for a 1 min chart even though we had a 5 min. So we multiplied by 5 to get a 10, 20, and 50 MA.

Hi and thanks for the vid. I noticed you use 50,100,250 MA for your 5 minute intraday charts. When I put those same values in my 5 minute chart the lines look nothing alike. Is there some offset or anything that you use? Thanks.

Sometimes I will pull up a sector tracking stock or ETF like SMH, OIH, XAL, etc to get a look at a particular sector
